Makerloom uses essential cookies and local browser storage to operate the service. We do not currently add optional advertising or marketing trackers, so there is no optional tracking choice to switch on.
What is stored?
| Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Makerloom authentication cookies, including provider cookie chunks | Maintain and refresh your verified login session. | Provider-managed; expires or is replaced during authentication and signout. |
| Membership option cookie | Remember monthly/yearly selection during authentication. | Up to one hour. |
| Account deletion receipt | Show confirmation and, if requested, clear that account’s local designs. | Up to five minutes or until consumed. |
| Account-scoped localStorage | Save designs, fonts, artwork libraries, backups, page books, and machine/preferences settings. | Until removed in the app, through account cleanup, or in browser settings. |
Managing storage
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies can stop signup and sign-in from working; blocking local storage can prevent saving. Download project backups before clearing site data. Signing out does not delete your saved designs.
The account deletion flow offers an option to clear that account’s Makerloom data from the current browser. Unassigned legacy designs, downloaded files, other browser profiles, and other devices need separate cleanup. Closing other open studio tabs helps prevent an old tab from saving an earlier design again.
Service-provider storage
Authentication, payment checkout, and hosting providers may use their own essential storage or operational records when you use their services. Their policies apply to those activities. We will update this notice if Makerloom adds optional analytics or advertising tools.
