THE DETAILS, IN PLAIN LANGUAGE

Terms of service

Effective October 19, 2026 · Makerloom Studios, a ClassPlaybook LLC product

These terms govern your use of Makerloom Studios, a ClassPlaybook LLC product. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Read our privacy policy for information about personal data.

1. Your account

You must be an adult able to enter this agreement. Keep your login secure, provide accurate information, and do not share access in a way that compromises other people’s data or bypasses membership limits. Makerloom uses a shared authentication identity; see the privacy policy for how password changes affect that sign-in.

2. Plans, trials, and renewal

Plans are $5 USD per month or $40 USD per year, taxes included. Both have a seven-day trial for eligible accounts. Your trial starts when you complete subscription checkout with a payment method, not when you merely create a login. After seven days, your selected subscription renews automatically at its displayed price and interval until canceled. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge. Creating another account to repeatedly obtain a trial is not permitted.

Checkout may be unavailable while billing setup is finalized. Creating a login alone does not authorize a charge or unlock a trial. The studio requires a verified login and an active, provider-confirmed trial or membership. Failed payments, an expired trial, or an ended subscription can lock studio access.

3. Cancellation, refunds, and deletion

You can cancel renewal through Manage billing in your account. Unless your account is closed, cancellation of renewal normally leaves access through the end of the current paid period shown in your account. Deleting the account ends Makerloom access immediately and cancels the Makerloom subscription.

A full refund is available when requested within seven days (168 hours) of a successful payment, including renewals. Refunds do not independently cancel renewal. Additional checks can require review; processing does not mean the refund has completed. Read the refund policy for details. Request a refund before deleting your account where possible. Your mandatory consumer rights are not limited by this policy.

4. Your work and other people’s rights

You retain rights you already have in your original designs and imported artwork. You may use your own designs for personal or commercial projects, subject to the licenses on any fonts, artwork, templates or other content you use. Import only content you are authorized to use. Downloaded project backups remain your responsibility.

We provide permission to use the studio during authorized access. This does not give you ownership of the application, its software, or someone else’s intellectual property. Do not redistribute third-party fonts or artwork except as their licenses allow.

5. Machine files and fabrication

Makerloom is design and file-preparation software. It does not remotely operate your CNC router or laser. Exports, previews, cutting-time estimates, materials, feeds, speeds and profiles are starting points, not guarantees of a safe or successful cut. Not all machine/profile combinations have been hardware-tested.

You are responsible for checking dimensions, units, origin, machine travel, toolpath, depth, workholding, clearances, material suitability, ventilation and the correct machine/controller settings. Simulate and inspect files in your machine software and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Test unfamiliar settings on scrap material and supervise fabrication.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, upload malicious material, circumvent security or subscription checks, infringe rights, or use the service unlawfully. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably needed to address abuse, unpaid memberships, security issues, or legal obligations.

7. Availability and limitations

Features may change and maintenance or provider outages may interrupt access. Keep downloaded backups of important work. Browser-local designs can be lost if site data is cleared or a device fails. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is supplied as available, and we do not promise a particular fabrication result or uninterrupted service. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Changes and questions

We will post updates with a revised effective date and provide notice when required. Any pricing change will be disclosed before it applies to a renewal, with an opportunity to cancel.

Email classplaybook2026@gmail.com for account help, privacy requests, or questions about these policies. Never send a password, full card number, or machine access credentials.
